10:15 AM: JimmmyV and BIg Steve are on the Atigun Pass!!

The SPOT shows massive snow and the road is indiscernible. That visual is the Google Map taken months/years ago.   It’s 31 degrees F in Deadhorse now and will warm up to a high of 35.

There may be some snow on the pass road today.  It will be muddy and slick.

From the top of the pass, it’s 169 miles to Deadhorse!!  All down hill.

Well, I've been missing my Alaska fix today – had a wedding shower and with the time differential, I'm just now seeing your progress. Your ride, and all us folks along for the cyber ride, have become an integral part of my day. I feel a kinship to the other posters and look forward to what they have to say – especially now that you're out of contact. Bless you, Dean, for being such a great alternate host, Mater Stromboli/Grand Pooba. Besides enjoying the trip vicariously, the posts let us all know the boys are safe. This last day sounds kinda scary – I'm with kreggy – forget the Or Bust part.

SPOT's showing them almost to Deadhorse now, so I have to watch that page now. Pretty exciting! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

False alarm – I wasn't zoomed in enough…but they're at Prudhoe Bay, now (21 minutes ago). I want a live feed webcam to watch them go into the Arctic!
